Ceramic filters for the foundryindustrie
The requirements of the customers concerning quality of
the surface and absence of non-metallic inclusion of the
casting rises in the past.
The reason of these non-metallic inclusions are well known
to the foundrymen.
It is also well known, that these inclusions are inevitable,
although the treatment and the conduct of the heat is good
and the gating-system is clean, but the insert of a ceramic
filter can minimize this problem.
In dependence of an high quality of the casting a filter
should be choosen for this problematic.

The pouring performance of a filter surface of 50 x 50 x
22 mm is 10 kg/s without an use of a filter. With the use
of a filter, the pouring performance changes to the above
values.
