Ceramic SiC-Cooling-Mass KERAMFORM F3

Instructions for use:

The application of KERAMFORM F3 is very easy, because the ceramic SiC-Cooling-Mass can be manufactured in the same way as silica sand, only the quantity of binder and hardener must be adapted. Reason for this is the structure of the SiC-grain - SiC has a plate-shape, instead of silica-sand, which has a nearly round shape.

Because of the neutral pH-Value of about 7, KERAMFORM F3 can be used with nearly all kinds of resins. It is not possible for us, to give you an exact value for the required resin/hardener-quantity, because there are to many different kinds of resins ans qualities on the market. The quality of these materials improved in the last years, that only an additional quantity of 10% can be necessary (some years ago you needed the double or tripple quantity of furan resin or phenolic resin). Your sand-laboratory will find the best quantity of resin and hardener in a short time. We would be pleased to send you a free 5 kg-sample of KERAMFORM F3 for your first testings.

The ready made mass must be compacted extremly strong. Mould or cores can be coated thin.
