Rectangle filter (REF)
for grey and nodular iron
Rectangle filters have square, smooth holes with relativ
small cross-section area of perforation, used for grey-iron-
and aluminium-casting. The effect of his high dimension-stability
is a long pouring time. Because of his high stability the
pouring height can be choosen very high.

- density 2,3 - 2,4 g/cm³
- temperature resistance up to 1.450 °C
Properties
- very good resistance to thermal shocks
- high corrosion resistance against muriatic acid, alkaline
steams, gases and deposits
- only small taking of moisture
- high hardness and resistance to wear
